Analysis of first names - New Jersey branches
The information is based on the data held as at November 2025. The data were collected and are held differently compared to those for the English branches. As a result, the analysis covers all the entries with a family surname that occur on the three trees from the start of the tree to the most recent entries. In additon, it covers people that do not appear on the trees.

The most frequently used female names were:

Isaac does not appear in any of the Englsh or Scottish branches and Johnston only once on a Scottish branch (probably the same person as one of these entries).
There are far fewer entries on the trees for the New Jersey branches, but there is still a wide range of first names used. For females 50 and for males 38. These are greater than for the English branches, but the period of analysis for those branches was shorter.
