Analysis of locations in the censuses - English
An analysis of the locations of members of the English branches in English counties in the censuses of 1841 to 1921 and in the register of 1939 shows that the families remain in the midlands for much of this time. The information relates to entries that have been identified as belonging to a particular branch. There is only a single family member in a county in some years. The information is based on the data held as at November 2025.
